The word Tabernacle literally means “dwelling place” and throughout the Bible we read about a Holy God’s desire to live among His sinful people. In this sermon, we look at how the wilderness tabernacle, and the eventual temple in Jerusalem, accomplished this purpose partially and temporarily. But this was only a shadow of what God had in mind because the Bible repeats the refrain that God cannot dwell in things made with hands.
