Bringing the church service to the public arena.

The idea behind CHURCHwithoutWALLS is to encourage followers of Jesus Christ to occasionally shed the creature comforts of the traditional church building in order influence the culture for the sake of the Gospel. Sometimes Christians act differently when in the public arena than they do inside church walls. On the positive-side, we hand out tracts and witness to people on the street. On the negative-side, Christians often have the reputation for only gathering publicly to protest or oppose this or that. We, on the other hand, will be gathering publicly for a simple church service. No frills. No hostility. No agenda. Open to any and all who are interested in learning more about the Bible and what it teaches (believers and non-believers).

My desire with this ministry is to show the world that the church isn’t just made up of clean-cut, religious people who only speak up when their “rights” are being infringed upon. The church consists of those who have renounced their rights and taken up their cross to follow Jesus Christ. Wherever we go and whatever circumstance in which we find ourselves, we have an opportunity to radiate Christ’s love to people who may never set foot inside a church building. This is not about “street-witnessing,” this is about practicing our Christianity for all to see so that they will see Christ for who He really is.
